Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and MOZEE LLC for using Mozee. By using Mozee, you agree to them. Our privacy policy says what we do with data.
1. Who we are
Mozee is run by MOZEE LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States. In these terms, “we” means MOZEE LLC. “Mozee” means this website (mozee.co), the app at app.mozee.co, the booking pages on it and the emails Mozee sends.
2. What Mozee is
Mozee is a free booking page for people who sell their time. A pro signs up and shares a booking link. A client opens the link, picks a time and books.
Mozee is free and takes no payments. We give it to you as it is. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise it is always up, fast or free of errors. We can change, add or remove features.
3. Who may use Mozee
To make an account, you must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. If you use Mozee for a business, you agree to these terms for that business too.
Clients do not need an account to book.
4. Your account and booking link
- You sign in with a code we email you, or with Microsoft. Keep access to that email account safe. You are responsible for what happens in your Mozee account.
- Your handle is the name in your booking link. Do not pick one that pretends to be someone else or uses a name you have no right to. If it does, we can change it or take it back.
- Keep your working hours and booking types up to date, so clients book times you can keep.
5. What you must not do
Do not use Mozee to:
- make fake or spam bookings, or send spam through Mozee’s emails,
- break the law, or offer a service that is against the law,
- pretend to be someone else,
- attack Mozee, overload it, get around its limits, or reach data that is not yours,
- collect other people’s data without the right to.
6. Clients
A client books time with a pro through the pro’s booking page. The client gives a name and an email address, and gets the booking by email.
The appointment is between the client and the pro. The pro gives the service, not Mozee. Questions about the appointment itself go to the pro.
A pro can mark a booking as spam. Then that email address can no longer book that pro.
7. Your clients’ data
For the data your clients enter to book, you are the controller and we are your processor. You decide why it is used. You follow data protection law for it, and you tell your clients what you do with their data where the law asks you to.
For pros, our data processing agreement (mozee.co/dpa) is part of these terms. It says how we handle your clients’ data for you.
8. Suspension and termination
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts Mozee, its users or others at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and say why.
You can stop using Mozee at any time.
9. Deleting your account
A button to delete your account comes in a later version of Mozee. Until then, email support@mozee.co from the address you sign in with, and we delete your account.
When we delete your account, we delete your bookings and your clients’ data with it. Copies age out of our backups within 30 days and out of Resend within 37 days. Our privacy policy has the details.
10. No guarantees and our liability
Mozee is free and comes as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no promises about it beyond what these terms say. That includes promises that it fits your purpose or never fails.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, lost business, missed or double bookings, or lost data. Our total liability to you for anything to do with Mozee is limited to 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not let us limit, such as for fraud. If you use Mozee as a consumer, you keep the rights your local law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we change the version and date at the top. For a change that matters to you, we email pros before it takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using Mozee and delete your account.
12. Governing law
The law of the State of Delaware governs these terms, except where the law where you live gives you rights that a choice of law cannot take away. If a part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
